I couldn't have breakfast. Nothing was refilled. Hygiene left much to be desired.

The hotel is a little outdated and is currently being renovated. We didn't mind, because we were out during the day, in the evening it was quiet. The location directly at the subway is ideal. The airport is therefore easily accessible. The centre can be reached on foot, as well as the most important sights. . A few minutes from the hotel is the Frauenmarkt, the oldest market in Sofia (not to be confused with the market hall). A walk over this is recommended.

The room was silent and airy, offered climate control and satellite TV. The staff was welcoming, some of them especially. The location was favourable, not far from easily accessible to train and bus station and a modern restaurant and restaurant / cafe and close to a monastery and an opera house. Spent our evenings in nearby The Bridge Bar and Dinner enjoying drinks and atmosphere.
Some people working there were very unfriendly.

I thought it was a good hotel and pretty well located in Sofia. It's only 4-5 few blocks from the city center, the railway station and the main bus station. The staff at the reception desk all spoke very good English and were very courteous and helpful. The attached restaurant served a good breakfast and it was nice to be able to choose between a continental, English or American breakfast (the latter two at an additional cost). The room was nothing fancy, but it was certainly comfortable and the bathroom likewise. I had a very positive experience staying at the hotel.
The room temperature seemed set to be too warm for comfort. Since I had a single room with balcony, I opened my door to the balcony for several hours before bedtime to moderate the temperature to be more comfortable inside the room. A second issue I can mention is beyond the control of the hotel. With the expansion of the metro in Sofia, the area outside the hotel by the Lion bridge is one big construction site because they are building an additional metro line in the vicinity of the hotel. This didn't really bother me, but it may some people. Of course, once the construction work is completed, there should be easy access to the hotel via the metro system. This should be a big plus in the future. But for a while, the ongoing construction might be an issue for some people staying at the hotel.

The room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
We paid extra for a room with a balcony. The balcony was no bigger than the airconditioning unit that it housed. Impossible to step onto balcony. Noisy location due to density of traffic and road works in progress. The front office staff found it very difficult to smile or speak!! The only friendly person we encountered was the cleaner.

I loved the room. It definitely is in the 4 star category. Clean, large, comfortable. The location of the Hotel is excellent. I like that I had an excellent internet connection..
Everything is fine. The restaurant is more of a cafeteria like;however, the food was good.

Modern and pleasant hotel with pleasant personnel in customer service and customer relations. Marvellous and perfect location in a cultural area close to a monastery and an opera house. Walking distance to a main market and a market across the street. Nice pool, parking nearby. Late check out.

The breakfast room is situated in a pastry shop so you have a big variety to choose if you like sweets.
Actually in front of the house there is a big construction site as they build a new underground station there.
